Destiny with God

As a spiritual leader and disciples we have to plant the seeds of love to other s. We speak about the love of God and then put that love into action to the best of our understanding through relationships with other people and with the natural world. We act in the hope that our gestures, invitations and words will encourage others to join in , so that love may multiply far beyond ourselves.

Matthew 13:31-32 He told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. Though it is the smallest of all seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds come and perch in its branches.”

Planting can be hard , some seeds we plant do not develop because they are hindered by the wrong intention in which we have planted them ,

Galatians 6:7-9 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”

He who sow righteous seeds gets a true harvest. Let us show love for one another and be intentional about planting seeds of love in every opportunity we get, just as God so loved us , let’s also be the doers of his love as disciples.

Rendering service to the absolute truth has 100% importance. It means to facilitate one’s spiritual progress. As you experience the benefits of spiritual practice, you will realise the profound impact that spirituality can have on other people’s life.

All of us have some talents and resources. These talents and resources are given to us by God. One easy way to grow spiritually is to offer these same talents and resources in serving in the house of the Lord, for his glory and in return we gain much more, including positivity, peace and we grow spiritually as well.

Romans 12:6,8 “We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.”

1 Peter 4:10, 11 “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.”
1 Peter 4:10‭-‬11 NIV

We are suppose to be productive and be assets in the house of the Lord. We need to find out and pursue God’s purpose for our lives not what we feel like or want , you do best when you are in the position that God created you to be in than being where you want.

We are the body of Christ and parts of the body don’t all have the same function. We are all called by God and our gifting is not limited to what we think are seemingly spiritual things some are called or skilled to be engineers, ushers , musicians ,writers , teachers , decorators, counselors, givers, administrators, children church teachers, out reachers, deacons, builders etc…

Brethren lets serve God through our talents and resources and by doing so we gain much more spiritually.

The bible says the only way we will flourish is by being planted. If you are not committed to a local church, you will miss many benefits promised in God’s word.

Psalm 92 : 13 – 14 ” planted in the house of the Lord,they will flourish in the courts of our God , they will still bear fruit in the old age, they will stay fresh and green”

Being planted means to be stationary or permanent in a location. God doesn’t want us to just go at any church, he has already chosen a place for us and he will reveal to every believer the local church he wants him or her to be planted in

Why?, because he knows exactly what each of us needs to be able to grow and develop spiritually. As we are planted in a local church fully in our hearts and minds then we will grow, mature and develop spiritually.

It’s a struggle to find yourself in god again after you have backslided. I myself have been saved twice. First-time was in April 2010 when I gave my life to god and accepted Jesus as my lord and saviour. For a long while I was good with god , but life and pressures of social life got the better of me , my focus in god diverted to other things and as a result I backslided and never made time to praise, honor and worship god like I did before. What is amazing is that all that happened during those hard times led me to realize that I need god more than ever before and so in 2016 beginning of the year I got saved again and I made god to be the centre of my life and I did everything for his glory.I started growing more in the things of god. I found my purpose in him and I see his glory upon my life through his grace.

Jeremiah 3:22 “Return, you backsliding children, and I will heal your backslidings”

Any of us have the potential to fall but it is how we rise again and reconnect with god fully and wholeheartedly by keeping his commandments that we may be blessed with spiritual growth and wisdom.

Our purpose in life is the true definition of our existence and with this god has has blessed us with special talents and gifts. For us to discover our purpose and reach our full potential is by submitting ourselves to god “Job 22 : 21 – Submit to god and be at peace with him, in this way property will come to you”.

Submitting to god means to humble yourself to him and his ways. However we are not perfect as human beings, we tend to worry about everything, our daily bread and our future but God already knows the plans he has for us , ” Jeremiah 29 : 11 – For I know the plans I have for you ,declares the Lord – plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”.

God only needs us to surrender ourselves to him faithfully and wholeheartedly so he can grow us , develop and prepare us for our destiny.
